North Florida Real Estate College

45 Hour Post-Licensing Course

The Florida Real Estate Commission has prescribed a post-licensure education requirement in order for a person to maintain a valid salesman’s license.  A salesman with an effective date of January 1, 1989 or later MUST complete at least 45 classroom hours, inclusive of examination, prior to the first renewal following initial licensure.  A salesman must also complete the post-licensure education requirement in order to be eligible for licensure as a broker.

The license of any salesman, active or inactive, who does not complete the post-licensure education requirement prior to the first renewal following initial licensure will be NULL and VOID.  Such person wishing to again operate as a real estate salesman must re-qualify by satisfactorily completing the salesman’s pre-licensure course (RE 101) and passing the state examination for licensure as a salesman—AGAIN.

After devoting so much time and expense to obtain a salesman’s license, don’t lose it by failure to take the 45 hour post-licensing course prior to your first renewal!

Everything you need to meet this post-licensing educational requirement is just a phone call away.
